Cholesterol
High cholesterol levels can be symptomatic of an underactive thyroid gland.
If you have high cholesterol, especially if it’s associated with some of the following symptoms of hypothyroidism,
be sure to have your blood tested for a thyroid imbalance.
Current research indicates that chronic, unrelenting stress is a major contributing factor of hypothyroidism.
Symptoms of hypothyroidism include:
- General Fatigue
- Hairloss, Including Eyebrow Hair (Especially at the Edges)
- Weight gain
- Joint Pains and Muscle Aches/Muscle Cramps
- Constipation
- Dry and Pale Skin/Thickened Skin
- Feeling Cold, Even in Warm Environments
- Brittle Hair
- Milky Discharge From the Breast (Gallactorrhea)
